I want to connect private experiences to a wider social context. I try to discover what factors or conditions make art possible and what the ultimate value of art might be by observing natural and social phenomena. Reinterpreting everyday objects in light of cultural history and commenting, through metaphor and paradox, on the various by-products of industrialization and the problematic symptoms of post-industrial politics, society, and culture (from schizophrenia to environmental issues)……. The subjects may vary but that is the underlying motivation behind each of my projects.
