To seek the equilibrium in subtle layers of life, presenting it in the formative shape of certain structure, I illuminate the fragile moments of stasis throughout the repetitive process of intervention, collision and negotiation. It need artist, myself, as being a mediator centered by installation, visualizes binary relationships, ultimately demonstrating the process of ‘conjunction’ where conflicting requisites seek a single, harmonious note.
Varying the harmonious note in the space, all the formative element are being an interpretation of a series of beat, each indicating both tone and length of sound, as well as variable human movements associated with artist’s negotiation. The paintings of different weight and volume, possessing recursive layers, which depict relationship between heterogeneous elements, are filled on frames of installations as if accumulating musical beats. Through correlation of paintings and installation, I examine the balance of various elements composing sound and prompt infinite expansion within the space.
